How did vintage cars acquire such names? Well, it goes way, way back. As early as the year 1760, automobiles were widely known. Aside from that, their history has quite made an impression. You see, it is not really defined because vintage is another term for old but because of the era where it came from. During that period, 3 eras were stipulated based on the technology and common design of those cars that were produced during those times. The vintage era is considered as one. It is in between the Brass and Classic eras. Hence, cars that were produced during the vintage era were called vintage cars.
